If you meet a disabled person, would you go all out to help that person?
Was on the way to the kps one day when my friends and i saw a blind man crossing the road alone. So we went to help him. Then he asked us to accompany him to the kps cafeteria for lunch. ok lo. We helped him buy lunch and he asked me to take him to brickfields to some agency. How?
1. I don't know where is Brickfields.
2. Even if i did know, i don't know how to get there.
3. I am scared to go alone.
4. He could be a mass murderer.
5. I wanted to sleep.
Ok maybe the 5th reason was purely selfish on my part but would you go if you were me? Anyway luckily we thought of the Buddhist Society that was having an exhibition that day and got 2 guys to drive him to the agency. But he still kept asking me to go. SCARED! He was also very strange because when we met him he said he was from Pakistan, then later he told the Buddhist Society ppl that he was from Iran.
But the main point is that UM's HEP doesn't bother to send ppl to help the disabled students. Is this right? Can i do anything about it?
ps. We bought him guava for dessert and he didn't know what guava was. Iran doesn't import guava meh?
