We have the movie package again.
Been watching loads of movies to make up for lost time + make sure we get our money's worth, haha.
1) Enchanted
Surprisingly, i loved it. I thought it would be a sad excuse of a musical, seeing how it was over promoted and many ppl already made up their minds to love it. I think Amy Adams portrayed a Disney princess perfectly. But i still hate that song "How Does He Know". eeee....so cheesy and annoying!2)102 Dalmations
Ok lo....cute dogs.3) Election
Nope, not the Hong Kong triad one. Oh but speaking about that, there's a scene that really freaked me out. The one where Louis Koo used an axe to chop a guy up, grind his body and fed it to the dogs.....omg bleargh.Anyway this one is about Tracy Flick, a Hermoine Granger-esque character who joins her schools presidential elections. Quite an enjoyable movie ...mostly because of the funny monologues and Reese's good acting.
4) X-Files
To be honest, i don't remember much about the x-files series, only that it used to air every....Sunday at 7pm i think. Maybe i was too young at the time and didn't get the plots. The only episode i remember is one where there was these oozing black worm thingies that moved under the skin and made the eyes turn black. This movie just seemed like an extended episode of the series. Only diff is that Mulder and Scully kissed and he finally got to see some aliens, proving that he's not crazy.5) Plots With a View aka Undertaking Betty
At 1st it seemed quite mundane and pointless, but it was actually HILARIOUS! Funny story about 2 ppl falling in love. Only catch is that the woman is already married. So they fake her death, but turns out her husband wanted her dead anyway, and got her insurance money to boot. So she wants revenge. Another plus is that Christopher Walken is in it!
6) The Glass House: The Good Mother
Oh my. It's about this foster mum trying to murder the 2 kids. It's a dirent-to-video sequel to the movie Glass House. I thought that meant it would be terrible. Well, the plot is blindingly obvious, with some plot holes. But the acting was superb. I was screaming even though i knew what was going to happen.I just learnt about the Munchausen syndrome by Proxy a few days ago watching a Korean talk show. Apparently, there was this girl who was constantly sick from birth till she was about 20. Turns out it was because her mum was feeding her matches! She wanted to keep her daughter sick so that she would feel more like a mum...
