the good thing about having a 2 month break is that i have ample time to do things i normally don't have time to do.
like reading all 6 Harry Potter books again.
i think HP is the best series ever, with Malory Towers coming in at 2nd place.
*incidentally, has anyone else ever read Malory Towers?
most ppl stare blankly when i ask them about it.
Enid Blyton wor, must have read before right?
anyway, i spent the past week lounging around the house, re-reading the books.discovered things i didn't even know i forgot.
can you believe it, i forgot Dumbledore died!
boohoo, things look bleak now he's gone.
i was so excited, i read like 1 book per day.
yup, even the fat assed 5th book, where
- Harry was acting gay
- one of my favourite character, Sirius Black, died
- i got the shock of my life finding out Mrs. Figgs was a squib
- i dejectedly accepted the fact that there would not be a DM/HG romance
i finished the 6th book yesterday and thought
"shit, now i have to wait for a month before i can read the last installment."
but after going online i suddenly realised that the 7th book is coming out on the 21st of July.
JULY
not June as i presumed.
sheesh, i always knew that confusing June and July would mess me up somehow.
now i have to wait for 2 months.
how is that going to be possible?
for those who have read Harry Potter,
you would understand it's allure.
reading HP literally transports my brain into another world.
where i connect everything in my life to HP.
last night, i even dreamt about HP.
not Harry la, never really liked him.
but it was about that world, though i can't remember it anymore.
so now i'm going to fill the void in my life by reading HP fan fiction.
especially my fave ship.
DM/HG
yay!
p.s: i was trying the spell check thingy and it suggested that i change "Dumbledore" to "tumble town"! haha!
Now only you know 21st July only keluar? You sad sad woman..... and I embarrassed myself kau kau today.Eesh
